You read Freud, then you see something by Lacan, then defense mechanisms, transference, drive, desire, symptoms, structures appear… and everything seems important, but you don't always know how to put it together.
You end up with notes, PDFs, videos, and open books, understanding some pieces separately, but without a route that tells you what comes first, what each concept means, and how it connects to practice.
That's why psychoanalysis can seem much more difficult than it really is: not because it's impossible, but because no one taught you how to connect all the pieces.
